Minutes of Meeting Project planning for the rest of September and October-23, the team discussed upcoming projects and events. In addition to this, the team reviewed and planned for other projects to be executed during the month. The major projects planning for coming months was also discussed:- Ganapati Idol and puja samagri donation to economically backward class. (approx. expense 1 lac) Tulsi Vivah, janmashtami and dahi handi celebration 2023 Day Picnic/ Fellowship at Dr. Khot’s farmhouse in Teachers day Hindi Diwas Peace Day Gazal Rotary Youth Exchange – Meeting DRT Meeting Post Office Day Girl Child day World Food day Festival Events like Maha Aarti, Dandiya, and Diwali Pot Lunch Prajakta Shah, an environmentalist from New Panvel, shared a variety of low-cost environmental projects with the Rotary Club of Panvel Mahanagar. Her initiatives included setting up community gardens, creating compost from kitchen waste, and using recycled materials to create useful items such as cloth bags and seedling pots. Ms. Shah emphasized the importance of sustainability and zero-waste practices in preserving the environment. The Rotary Club members were inspired by her practical and innovative approach to environmental conservation. AG and DG Visit: The DG visit is planned on 21st November-23 and AG visit will be planned 15 days prior to the same. It was discussed and deliberated that financial of trust and club should be kept ready before the visit. It was also informed to BOD that the DG will be conducting a review during their visit. Hence start working on the same. The resolution was proposed by Rtn. Sudhir Chakole and seconded by Rtn. Mukund Chaudari.
