Vote of Thanks We request club members and BODs to attend the meeting in full strength; the meeting will be followed by dinner. Minutes of Meeting The club warmly received its new members Rtn. Rohan Bhosale, Rtn. Rohini Katre and Rtn. Hansraj Ojha with greetings from Rtn. Deepak Khot, the district membership committee, and Club President Rtn. Sudhir Chakole. The club success’s at district event was also discussed; the Rotary Club of Panvel Mahanagar was honored with three notable awards at the district membership conference held in Pune. The club has successfully demonstrated excellence in the area of membership growth and community service, receiving recognition for its outstanding efforts. The event was attended by Rtn. Sudhir Chakole, Club President, Rtn. Milind Narse, Club Membership Director, Rtn. Dr. Deepak Khot, District Membership-Co-Director, and Rtn. Alka Koli, District Vocational Service Chairperson. Project planning for the rest of September, the team discussed upcoming projects and events. In addition to this, the team reviewed and planned for other projects to be executed during the month. The major projects planning for coming months was also discussed:- Ganapati Idol and puja samagri donation to economically backward class. (approx. expense 1 lac) Tulsi Vivah, janmashtami and dahi handi celebration 2023 Day Picnic/ Fellowship at Dr. Khot’s farmhouse in Medical Camp at Palaspe Village Lunch box Teachers day Hindi Diwas Peace Day Gazal Rotary Youth Exchange - Meeting The schedule will be released by early Sep-23 Fund raising projects: The point upraised to club members those three potential fundraising events: a Lavani dance event with a budget of 1-1.5 lac, a fellowship at Rtn. Dr. Deepak Khots' farmhouse, and a monsoon running event. These events aim to generate revenue for the club. Further detailing will be done when we plan the event. The resolution was proposed by Rtn. Puransingh Mehra and seconded by Rtn. Dr. Deepak Khot. Synergy Project: The Rotary Club of Panvel Mahanagar has launched a synergy project to aid the Kalote animal farm where 640 animals are in need of food and medicine. Despite unable to vocalize their predicament, these animals are in dire need of help. The project aims to provide the necessary resources to ensure the welfare of these creatures and mitigate their suffering to the best of their abilities. By doing so, the Rotary Club of Panvel Mahanagar offers a compassionate solution towards this issue. We request club members to promote the project and make as much as synergy partners in this project. AG and DG Visit: The DG visit is planned on 21st November-23 and AG visit will be planned 15 days prior to the same. It was discussed and deliberated that financial of trust and club should be kept ready before the visit. It was also informed to BOD that the DG will be conducting a review during their visit. Hence start working on the same. Rtn. Deepak Khot provided an update on the trust bank balance and accounts, as well as plans to close the audit and obtain 80 G Certification. He also suggested that the one meeting to be planned at the earliest to reconcile the trust account and handover the same to Auditor Meeting ended with Secretarial remarks and vote of thanks
